Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, which is the first official Project Tango smartphone finally goes on sale in the US.

After many delays, the phone is finally hit the market in November 2016. The Phab 2 Pro was supposed to start shipping in August 2016 and was slated to go on sale in September 2016.

After a delay of over a month, the phone is listed now on company’s website for $499 (approx Rs 33,500). The device is special as the camera on it has an AR mode which helps bring augmented reality (AR) gaming, navigation and utilities to smartphones.

Lenovo Phab 2 Pro comes with AR applications such as Lowe’s Home Improvement, Phantogeist and Raise. Lenovo Phab 2 Pro sports a 6.4-inch 2K display and is powered by a Qualcomm 652 processor backed by 4GB RAM. There is 64GB internal storage on offer and the device comes with a 16-megapixel primary camera that has a special depth-sensing unit. The front camera is 8-megapixel and the device is comes loaded with a 4,050 mAh battery.
