Infinix Mobility few months back updated their phablet series with the release of another smart phone “Infinix Note 3”. Read our full, in-depth review of the Infinix Note 3 below!
Design and Display
Infinix Note 3 is a full unibody metal smartphone with no much of a difference with the Infinx Note 2. At one point, it appears smartphone makers will have no design concept anymore because all smartphones are now looking like a twin only with differentiation in specs.
You have the selfie camera at the front that comes with a 5MP sensor and a 13MP primary camera at the back, sitting just below the boxed fingerprint scanner and dual LED flash.
On the left frame of the Note 3, you have the ejectable dual SIM slot and on the right, you spot the power button and volume rocker. The micro-SD slot, also ejectable is placed at the right frame. The dual speaker grill is found at the bottom of the smartphone.
Infinix combines metallic and matte color finishes on the full metal body, creating a very beautiful device. Despite being a giant 6-inch FHD device, the smartphone doesn’t feel heavy. Infinix has a nice record of making lightweight phones which makes sense.
The Note 3 comes with a 6.0-inch FHD (1920×1080) triluminous display. The display is bright and has vibrant colors.
Infinix equipped the Note 3 with an octa-core MediaTek processor and 2GB of RAM. It is responsive, the smartphone is capable of handling demanding apps and games. Excellent multi-taskig abilities. Running through multiple apps does not cause much of an issue.
The smartphone comes with a 5 MP front camera good enough for taking selfies and a 13 MP rare camera for capturing the awesome moments.
Infinix’s best cameras have always been seen in its Zero series. Thus, we really wasn’t expecting much from the Note 3’s cameras. The front camera doesn’t do much to change that notion, a 5-megapixel flash accompanied with a soft flash. The rear camera is however much better, and produces images worthy of the Note 3’s huge screen.
Talking about software, Infinix Note 3 uses the XOS Chameleon, a custom UI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The OS brings a lot of customization and features into the Note 3. You can use the XManager, XAccount, XClub, XWeather and XHide to a whole lot of things. The notification tray is also uncluttered, containing just the needed settings to make life on the smartphone easy.
The smartphone comes with a 4500mAh battery capacity, it is equally paired with the famous fast-charging technology powered by MediaTek pump express charge technology.
In the box, you have Infinix Note 3, a charger, micro USB cable, handsfree and a surprise gift; tampered glass. For more information about Infinix Note 3 unboxing, watch the video below;
